Getting Involved with FLITE

Running an all-volunteer organization requires a lot of work and creative input. FLITE welcomes community support! You can help us by:

Volunteering
We recognize the many commitments that people have these days, and that it’s not easy to join yet another organization. However, for FLITE to be effective we always have a need for more volunteers. Please remember that by helping FLITE you will be making a difference in the lives of our local children. There are several working committees within FLITE that would benefit from your help. Contact the committee chairs to see what is involved and how you can help.

Getting InvolvedĀ
Communicating to school parents about FLITE and working on school-related FLITE projects would be more efficiently done by parents who are right in those buildings! If you would be interested in learning ways you could get involved with FLITE, please contact Julie Ferguson at jetferg@comcast.net.

Helping our community and students a little or a lot, FLITE has opportunities for you. If you can spare a few hours or want to become more active, please contact Ayuko Siegel at ayuko.siegel@gmail.com.

Proposing Programs
If you have any ideas that you’d like FLITE to consider, please contact Kathy Lieb at KCL53@aol.com, or check out the Program Grant section of this website. We’re always looking for ideas on ways to fulfill our mission of (1) helping students take full advantage of the opportunities that the District offers and (2) providing for innovative and challenging programs in Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.

Making Donations
We appreciate all donations! Please contact Tom Colman to discuss how you can contribute to FLITE in order to enrich the educational experience of students in our schools. Tom can be reached at tecolman@aol.com.

Unique Talents
FLITE is a stronger organization with input from community members. If you enjoy writing, editing or publishing, there’s a place for you on the communications committee. Contact Chris Caine at cdcaine@yahoo.com. Maybe numbers and money are more your skills. Contact Hank Lloyd at hlloyd@comcast.net to discuss how you can help.

General Support
If you have an idea for a special project that you’d like to discuss, contact FLITE’s Chair, Sheryl Roche at sheryl.roche@gmail.com

We welcome your input and we hope to see you soon!
